Buddha Prajnaparamita is the embodiment of the wisdom truth body of all the Buddhas, the Great Wisdom Mother who gives birth to all enlightened beings. By relying upon her and engaging in her practice, which includes reciting The Heart Sutra, we can develop the inner strength to overcome all outer and inner hindrances to attaining pure happiness, as well as all obstacles that hinder our progress to liberation and enlightenment.

The Odiyana Buddhist Center Bookstore & Café is the perfect place to start and finish your visit to the Center. Sit back and relax with your favorite hot drink and a book. You’ll find friendly people on hand to answer any questions you might have on meditation, Buddhism, practice and study.

Our Bookstore carries Dharma texts written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and stocks beautiful Buddha statues, artwork, ritual items, prayer booklets and CDs to support and enhance meditation practice and study.Accessories from hand-made book covers to incense and journals complement Buddhist practice and make excellent gifts.
