Bookstore and Café

The Odiyana Buddhist Center Bookstore & Café is the perfect place to start and finish your visit to the Center. Sit back and relax with your favorite hot drink and a book. You’ll find friendly people on hand to answer any questions you might have on meditation, Buddhism, practice and study.

Our Bookstore carries Dharma texts written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, and stocks beautiful Buddha statues, artwork, ritual items, prayer booklets and CDs to support and enhance meditation practice and study. Accessories from hand-made book covers to incense and journals complement Buddhist practice and make excellent gifts.

"We need to reflect again and again on the special opportunity we now have. If we develop a deep appreciation for the preciousness  of this life we will definitely make a determination to use it wisely.
Then we will feel as if our life has become truly meaningful."
- Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
